Keeping the Super Bowl Clean with 15 Awesome Recipes!

We are rapidly approaching what stands to be my favorite sports day of the year….the Super Bowl!  Played in New Orleans, LA this year, we get to see the Baltimore Ravens battle the San Francisco 49ers for the title of champion.  More importantly, we’ll see the Harbaugh brothers face off as the head coaches of each of these teams in what some are calling the Har-bowl.  The press is eating this up!  Speaking of eating things up, part of the reason I love the Super Bowl so much is the FOOD!  Far from a master of the clean eating craft, I don’t anticipate sticking strictly to my real food diet this Sunday (it’s a celebration, afterall!), but that doesn’t mean I won’t try.  In fact, in planning out my contribution to our host’s party I’ve come across some great CLEAN recipes this past week, and I want to share them with you.

How good do these clean appetizers look?  What do you have in mind for Super Bowl snacks??

Stop drooling, you’re scaring the children….

In case you’re wondering, I have no loyalty to the 49ers or the Ravens, so I’ll just be cheering for an exciting game and some good commercials!  But if I do have to choose, I’ll go with Jim Harbaugh’s 49ers, simply because of his 1996 appearance on Saved By the Bell….a good play, in my book.

Enjoy the big game!
